Well Women Acupuncture Expands Los Angeles Practice Focused on Infertility Issues

Brentwood, CA (Los Angeles) - Well Women Acupuncture, a unique clinic focused on infertility and female-specific health issues, has added acupuncturists Janice Chen, L.Ac., and Jennifer Block L.Ac. to its growing staff. Since 2001, Well Women has blended acupuncture with herbal medicine, compassion and modern gynecology to provide an elegant treatment that improves health and increases empowerment. Nearly 60% of participants in the clinic?s SEED program have achieved successful pregnancy within six months of finishing the workshop.

Janice Chen, L.Ac. specializes in women's health and the treatment of infertility, and is board certified in Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Her master?s degree in Oriental Medicine was preceded by an education at MIT, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Janice works with reproductive endocrinologists to ensure that women receive the best integrated care available on their journey to parenthood.

Jennifer Block L.Ac. earned a master?s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine while raising three children. She has studied in both Santa Fe and Los Angeles, and uses her own experience as a mother, as well as her gentle touch and natural sensitivity, to offer each patient an optimal setting for healing.

Jennifer and Janice join founder Danica Thornberry, L.Ac., and fellow acupuncturists Anna Werderitsch, L.Ac. and Virginia Prior L.Ac. in the practice. Now beginning its 10th year, Well Women Acupuncture often works holistically with the patient?s doctor to increase the success rate of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) procedures, such as IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).
