CHANGES and NEW GROWTH at WELL WOMEN...
Dear Friends,
Spring is a season of new growth, is it not? Seeds planted in the fall finally gather enough energy to burst through the soil to show new life, and the energy rises with longer sunny days. Everything seems to change as we clean our closets and let things go to make room for new.
Here is a snippet of the changes that have transpired for the Well Women practitioners since the fall...
Anna has returned to her practice after bringing son "Cosmo" into the world July 16, 2008. She and husband Andrew are now regularly uniting their healing gifts and sharing these gifts with others in the form of "Harmonic Acupuncture" sessions. This powerful combination unites needles with the vibrational healing power of the didgeridoo. They are offering this unique experience at a very reasonable rate of $40 per person, and offering sessions once a month. Please contact Anna through the Well Women office if you would like to learn more.
A new practitioner Carolin Bennett L.Ac., joined the Well Women office earlier this year. Carolin specializes in Acupuncture Orthopedics and brings this new dimension to our scope of healing. Great for injuries, chronic tension and rehabilitation, Carolin's special focus allows us to expand our range of healing beyond fertility and women's general health. Carolin invites you to send your husbands to the office, with their back pains, tennis elbows and frozen shoulders! She currently works Tues and Thurs evenings.
Virginia continues to live out her dream of using acupuncture for Women's issues. She works in both the Well Women office as well as Santa Monica Fertility Specialists, helping women transform their infertility disappointment. She has helped several women conceive by adding acupuncture to ZIFT and IVF protocols, while also working with the MindBodyWellness team to promote an optimal mindset for conception to occur.
Elaine can finally see her life changing as she nears the completion of her fourth year of acupuncture school. She continues to offer massage therapy and her "Hot Hands, Warm Heart" approach to interested Well Women patients. Please contact Elaine at the office for her rates and availability.
My life continues to simultaneously expand and contract, as I find myself sandwiched between the needs of my 18 month old daughter Kira, while helping my 61 yr-old mother transition due to end stage emphysema. I have found that our greatest growth is found during these times that involve maturity, change and loss. All three life lessons combine for me now and keep me humbly and firmly rooted in the present moment.
