A change in season requires a change in DIET! The Spring season diet in Chinese Medicine emphasizes GREEN foods. It is a season of birth and new beginnings; as the seeds sprout to break through the ground, our energy moves up and outward. This is a time to blossom! Therefore, switch to lighter and simpler meals filled with plenty of young and leafy greens, cooling foods, and refreshing teas. Begin to incorporate more sprouts & sprouted grain flours, and opt for fresh fish in favor of fatty meats. Please heed the following dietary advice to put your body in balance & harmony with the seasons:
