More and more people each day complain of being tired. And each day research suggests that we need to supplement our diets with vitamins. What is interesting to note is that now research suggests that herbs have the potential to increase the metabolism of our vitamins! This means that we can start to more effectively address all this fatigue...
The "8 Treasures" is a classic Chinese herbal formula that when used in small doses can restore a person with chronic complaints to a higher quality of living. It is a combination of 4 blood tonics and 4 qi tonics that is excellent and safe for daily use. Anemia, lowered immune response, shortness of breath, fatigue, tired/heavy limbs and frequent colds and flu's can all arise due to a deficiency of qi or blood.
Ginseng is one main ingredient in the 8 Treasures. It increases energy, but not in a stimulating way like caffeine. Ginseng gently adds energy to the body's system, while caffeine depletes our energy by stimulating cortisol (stress hormone) in the adrenals, leaving one to feel weak, usually crashing in the late afternoon.
Specific to women's issues, 8 Treasures addresses delayed or irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, postmenstrual fatigue from heavy bleeding and can also be helpful for preventing recurrent miscarriage that results from a deficiency of qi and/or blood.
Speak with your practitioner to see if you could benefit from adding 8 Treasures to your daily regimine.
