Eating with the Seasons - Well Women Summer Foods

A change in seasons requires a change in DIET! Summertime belongs to fire and is the time of maximum activity and heat. Light, small meals and yin cooling foods are suggested for this time of year. Avoid heavy, spicy, and greasy / fatty foods. Enjoy the sunshine and embrace the shade, and also remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Please heed the following dietary advice to put your body in balance & harmony with the seasons:
